Since Jack's arrival we have been a little overwhelmed! We are still getting to know our little man, but so far he seems to like our family. He's a great eater and he only eats every 3 hrs (usually), then goes into a milk coma until his next feeding. He does seem to cry a lot more than Emma did. We've been using the techniques in "Happiest Baby on the Block" - these have been working pretty good. Swaddling, sssshhhhing, swinging, and of course sucking! I have discovered that when Jack is swaddled and sucking on his pacifier he goes to sleep immediately when I dry my hair or when I run the vaccuum. I also run these appliances for the sole purpose of helping him fall asleep - whatever works right?!
Emma loves Jack and helps me with him all day! She's very worried about Jack getting his feet in his poo, so when I change him she oversees and makes sure to remind me by repeating "Brudda - NOOOOO feet in there - Mama hold!". What would I do without her?!

She's got me doing it too. However, I need to find time to keep it up to date. Jack is a doll. Emma must be so proud to be a big sister. Hope all is well
Jack is SO cute! I can't wait to meet him. I am going to try to make it home in Aug or Sept.
