We went to Ft. Belvoir's Oktoberfest this past weekend with Will, Robin, the kids and Kathy. It was basically a small fair with German food, German beer, and no farm animals. The weather was beautiful and we all got our sauerkraut fix while jammin out to the sounds of the German Brass Band! A very fine day indeed.
Rachel (Emma's cousin-by-association) escorted Emma around and showed her the ropes. I mentioned something about 'carnies' to Rachel and she wanted to know what 'carnies' are... I couldn't help but think of the Austin Powers definition... 'carnies... you know, small hands - smell like cabbage' hehe!
